For the past couple of days, the mercury has taken a dip, especially during early morning hours and chilly winds are witnessed. "This is mainly because the direction of the wind has changed as we are seeing westerly winds which are bringing the nip in the air. Prior to the onset of winters, first, the minimum temperatures start dipping. Ideally, when the minimum temperatures are on or below 15 degree Celsius, we declare the onset of winters," said an officer with the Met department.
People in Jaipur woke up to a cloudy morning, however, no rainfall took place throughout the day. A minimum temperature of 25.6 degree Celsius was recorded in the morning and was followed by a maximum temperature of 34.5 degree Celsius.
