JSR celluloid chapter to restart film screening
Jamshedpur: Celluloid Chapter would restart screening films. “Students watch a lot of content on social media or OTT but few understand the art of cinema. We have decided to screen films and roll out film appreciation courses for schools," said Amitava Ghosh, president of Celluloid Chapter.
The last film the society screened was in 2019.
The film society shall procure films from the Federation of Film Societies of India and hold interactive sessions with directors on the art of film making.

Chapter has also decided to offer short film appreciation courses for students to understand the nuances of the medium.
