RG Kar hospital horror: 'Ex-principal Sandip Ghosh’s statement raised hunch on Tala OC role during interrogation'

There have also been allegations of the crime scene not being cordoned off properly with many outsiders being allowed into the seminar hall where the body was found.
According to CBI sources, former RG Kar principal Sandip Ghosh’s statement during interrogation also gave the CBI some leads and raising suspicion about the role of the Tala OC.
Mandal was removed as Tala OC on Sept 6, after which he went on leave and got himself admitted in a private hospital.
CBI will produce both Mandal and Ghosh at the Sealdah ACJM Court on Sunday. Sources said it was on Ghosh's instruction that a hospital official had called the parents and told them that their daughter had died by suicide.
It was also on the order of Ghosh that two rooms next to the seminar hall were pulled down three days after the crime. The order was issued the morning after the murder.
