Man dies by suicide 4 days after wife kills herself

Kolkata: A 32-year-old man allegedly died after hanging himself at his home in Netaji Nagar on Saturday, four days after his wife killed herself at her parents’ place in Jalpaiguri. Cops said Suman Das married Jayasree three months ago but due to some differences, she left for her parents’ home. Das had also lost his job during this period.
Cops said he went to bring her back the day after Vishwakarma Puja but found out she had died that morning.He attended her last rites and returned on Saturday, severely depressed, his family said.
In the evening, he locked himself in a room and hanged himself. Cops started an unnatural death case and have sent his body for postmortem. tnn
