Ludhiana: Unidentified miscreants barged into Government Girls Middle School and Government Primary School at Latalan village and stole valuables on the intervening night of September 21 and 22. In-charge of the middle school, Rupinderjit Kaur, went to the school for an exam on Sunday and found the locks broken and the school ransacked. Police have registered a case on her complaint.
The complainant said that she locked the school on Saturday afternoon and went home. On Sunday morning, she returned to the school as an exam was scheduled. When she reached her office, she found the locks and almirah open and classroom keys missing. She went to the classrooms to check and found valuables missing.
Rupinderjit Kaur said that the burglers also targeted the primary school on the same premises. They stole two LCD TV screens, a battery, a hard disk of CCTV cameras from the middle school, an inverter, sound system, curtains and registers from the primary school. tnn
