Madurai to host mini-ideal home exhibition

MADURAI: Madurai District Tiny & Small-Scale Industries Association (MADITSSIA) will conduct a three-day mini-ideal home exhibition on its premises near the city corporation office from Sept 27.
The trade and industrial body has been organising the ideal home exhibition for more than 30 years. This will be the first of its kind mini-ideal home exhibition, comparatively a smaller exhibition, according to the organisers.
Addressing reporters, exhibition chairman M Ramasamy said there would be 75 stalls displaying all types of kitchenware, food products, furniture, readymade garments, textile products, leather products, automobile accessories and home appliances.They are expecting 15,000 to 20,000 visitors every day during the exhibition.
There will be a lucky draw and bumper prize for the visitors. There will be space for children's games, and the exhibition would have a food court to serve delicious food to the visitors, he said.
The exhibition will be held from 11am to 9pm, and the entry will be free for the public.
General manager of District Industries Centre S Ganesan will inaugurate the exhibition.
