Two killed in accident near Saswad
Pune: Two youth working with a private company in Bhor were killed after their motorcycle was hit by a truck at Bhiwadi village near Saswad in Purandar taluka on Monday afternoon.
The Saswad police on Tuesday arrested the truck driver on the charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
The two deceased have been identified as Pradnyesh Rasal (20) of Velha and his friend Pranav Pawar (21) of Bhor.

An officer said that the accident happened on Monday afternoon on the Saswad-Kapurhol Road near Bhiwadi village. "The locals informed that despite the narrow road, the truck driver was speedily driving towards Saswad. He knocked the motorcycle which was heading towards Kapurhol," he said.
The officer said that Rasal and Pawar suffered severe injuries in the accident. They were taken to a govt hospital in Saswad, where they succumbed to their injuries.
