Bhupesh Baghel said, "The shameless govt should release a notice for public that citizens have to take care of their own safety. Now no one should hesitate to say that under this govt Chhattisgarh is going through the most horrific phase ever. The driver of Ambikapur Collectorate, who had gone out for a walk early in the morning, was stabbed to death in the middle of the city, where a large number of people come for morning walk, and the three murderers fled. The govt will again try to cover it up, there will be one or two transfers and it will calm down. We have said earlier also that changing the coach of the train will not solve anything, the fault is in the engine."
The incident took place just 300 meters from the nearest Telibandha police station, about a kilometre from Civil Lines police station and less than 500 meters away from CM's residence.
Only last week, a woman was stabbed to death by a co-worker who jumped in the lake and was later arrested, during the busy hours of the day.
Telibandha in past 10 years has emerged as one of the most buzzing places in Raipur with continuous footfall at dozens of cafes while the Telibandha lake attracts morning-evening walkers and place is alive till late night as well.
