Shimla: Himachal Pradesh legislative assembly speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania has been appointed as the convenor of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) India Region-II by the chairperson of CPA India region and Lok Sabha speaker
Om Birla for one year from September 2024 to August 2025. Pathania will be the convenor of five states - Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir and Punjab.
The country is divided into nine zones of CPA. He would also attend the two-day 10th CPA India Region Conference in Delhi on September 23 and 24.
