NGT: Una indl area reports by officials ‘cryptic’
Kullu: Terming the status reports filed by R D Nazeem, principal secretary, Himachal Pradesh industries department, and Pawnesh Kumar, principal chief conservator of forests, as “cryptic”, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) has directed the two officials to submit detailed replies within the next two weeks in the ongoing case of alleged violations of environmental norms in setting up of the industrial area at Haroli in Una district.

In an order dated Sept 19, Justice Sudhir Agarwal observed that though both the officers had filed the reports, “the replies do not give entire facts and in fact are cryptic responses”.
