Thane: A 22-year-old woman sustained knife injuries when chasing a burglar who broke into her Thane flat and stole her gold ring and mangalsutra worth Rs 31,500 in the wee hours of Tuesday. Srinagar police said the burglar sneaked into the first-floor flat, snatched the sleeping woman’s jewellery and fled. She chased him, but he threw a knife at her which hit her on the hand.
