One killed in tractor-trailer collision
Udaipur: One person was killed and another was seriously injured in a tractor-trailer collision in the Nimbahera police station area of Chittorgarh district on the Nimbahera-Chhotisadri road on Saturday night. The collision resulted in a fire outbreak, which claimed the life of the tractor driver, who was burnt alive. His companion, who was also burnt, was rescued by the villagers.
According to Chittorgarh DSP Badrilal Rao, the tractor, which was coming from Bari, collided with a trailer coming from Nimbahera.

The tractor lost control and hit the container from the side of diesel tank, causing the fire. The driver succumbed to his burns, while one injured person has been referred to Udaipur for further treatment. Eyewitnesses said that the injured person who was pulled out from the wreckage after the accident was identified as Prakash (29), a resident of Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh) who currently resides in Nimbahera (Chittorgarh).

Vijay Rajagol, 56, sustained injuries. The mishap occurred near Kapileshwar temple. Authorities have registered a case at Khade Bazar police station.
