Girl raped in Kashi hotel, probe on

Varanasi: A teenage girl from Jaunpur district was allegedly raped and assaulted by a man at a hotel in the Babatpur area of Varanasi. The police have registered a case against the accused, identified as Naseem Ali, a resident of Aharak village under the Badagaon police station. A manhunt has been launched to apprehend the perpetrator.
According to reports, the teenage victim, who resides under the Madiahu police station of Jaunpur, frequently visited her relatives in Aharak village.During these visits, she became acquainted with Naseem. The girl alleged that during their interactions, he recorded inappropriate videos and photos of her and subsequently began blackmailing her for money, threatening to make the content viral if she failed to comply. On Monday at 11 AM, he summoned her to Jamalapur in Jaunpur. From there, he forcibly took her to the hotel in the Babatpur and raped her and recorded the act. Badagaon SHO Ajay Pandey stated that efforts are being made to apprehend the accused. He further mentioned that the hotel staff would be interrogated to determine how the minor girl gained entry into establishment without providing identification.
