Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday announced that Class 12 students of government schools in the state will get laptops if they score 60% or above marks in MP Board Exams 2024. Earlier, the criteria for the same was 75%.
CM made the announcement while addressing a 'Ladli Behna Yojana' event in Gwalior. Apart from this, Chouhan said the top three rank holders of schools in urban as well as rural areas will get scooters.
"Three top-ranking students of schools in urban and rural areas will get scooters," news agency PTI quoted CM as saying.
On July 20, the Madhya Pradesh government transferred Rs 196.6 crore into the bank accounts of 78,641 students who scored 75% or above in the MP Board Class 12 exams to purchase the laptops.
"Your 'Mama' (CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan) will support children's education. Next year, students who achieve at least 60% in the 12th board exams will receive laptops. Under the CM 'Meghavi Vidyarthi Yojna,' the government will cover the higher education fees for medical, engineering, or management colleges." Singh said on Saturday during a rally in Khargone.
Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has announced the exam dates for MP Board Exams 2024 for Classes 10 and 12. As per the schedule released, MP Board 10th Exam 2024 will be conducted from February 5 to February 28, 2024, and MP Board 12th Exam 2024 will be held from February 6 to March 5, 2024.
