Magnetic Fields marks its 10th edition in December 2024. Known for showcasing innovative sounds from India and across the globe, the festival continues to push boundaries in the electronic music scene.
Held in Alsisar from December 6-8, 2024, the event promises an eclectic mix of performances, with a lineup featuring both emerging and established artists.
The event will host prominent acts, including Sofia Kourtesis, known for her emotive house and electronica, and German-Italian composer David August, celebrated for his melodic explorations.
Other notable artists include Tom VR, whose music blends house, techno, and experimental soundscapes, and New York-based composer Shubh Saran. Bristol’s psychedelic funk quintet Cousin Kula, along with Viennese musicians Takeshi’s Cashew, will also bring their unique sounds, blending club culture and psychedelia. Paris-based duo Ko Shin Moon, known for their fusion of psychedelia and space disco, will perform alongside Delhi-based artists DEE EN, Tushar Mathur, and SULTAN, adding a local flavour to the event.
Fieldlines, the festival’s annual commission and residency, will feature London-based dubstep DJ and producer V.I.V.E.K, performing live alongside Rajasthani folk musicians such as Alser Khan and Kutla Khan. This fusion of modern and traditional sounds has become a signature of the festival.
