Sony launches home theatre speaker system with 100W output: Price, features and more

Sony has launched its SA-D40M2 home theatre speaker system in India, expanding its speaker lineup. This setup includes four compact satellite speakers and a bass reflex subwoofer to provide a powerful sound with its 100W output.

Sony SA-D40M2 home theatre system is priced at Rs 9,990 and is available across all Sony Centers, Sony authorised dealers, ecommerce websites (Amazon and Flipkart) and major electronic stores across India.

The Sony SA-D40M2 home theatre speaker system is claimed to produce 100W output to deliver clear, dynamic sound for watching movies, playing games or music. The speaker system has a 4.1-channel configuration with 4 compact satellite speakers and 1 subwoofer provides surround sound for a rich auditory environment.
Sony says that the four satellite speakers deliver precise, directional sound, while the subwoofer ensures rich, impactful bass.
“This configuration brings cinematic sound quality right to your home. The compact design of the satellite speakers blends seamlessly with any decor, making it both a stylish and functional addition to your home entertainment system,” Sony said.
The Sony SA-D40M2 features advanced Bluetooth connectivity and the ability to memorise up to eight devices. Apart from Bluetooth, the system comes with USB connectivity, allowing users to effortlessly play music directly from a pen drive.
There’s also a Stereo Mini Jack to connect older MP3 players, computers and TVs to the speaker system. To control the music, Sony SA-D40M2 comes with a remote control.
