Mithijhora preview: Rai thrives professionally, Anirban applauds his estranged wife

‘Mithijhora’ has introduced a new track in its female protagonist Rai’s life as she is now focused on her well-being and her professional life. Rai embarked on a new journey after a tumultuous time and a difficult surgical procedure. As per the current track of the show, Rai has rejoined work and has been recognised as one of the best performers in her company.She is to receive an award for her achievement that contributed to the growth of the company.
After Rai went through a difficult surgery, it took her a couple of months to recover from the post-surgical weakness. Anirban, who tried to visit Rai on multiple occasions after the surgery, was denied entry at her cabin. After Rai came back home with Srot and Mishti, Anirban tried to coerce her to come back to his house with him. Anirban even promised Rai that he would not doubt her anymore. However, Rai stood her ground and stood firm on her decision this time, and refused to let Anirban back in her life. Anirban kept pursuing her but in vain. After he received an earful from Sourya who refused to help him get back with Rai, Anirban finally decided to stay away from Rai for her well-being.

After her full recovery, Rai went back to rejoin work. As she resumed her work, she was informed that she was to be awarded as one of the best performers of the company. Rai was elated. So was everyone else in the family.
However, it was later revealed that Rai was about to receive her award from none other than Anirban Sen.
Will Anirban and Rai’s paths converge again?

‘Mithijhora’, a popular Bengali television show, stars Aratrika Maity, Debadrita Basu and Swapnila Chakrabarty as three sisters. As per the story of the show, Raipurna, Nilanjana and Srowtashini are three sisters. They love each other from the depths of their heart. They have an elder brother Vikram who is physically impaired. So, their only job holder is their father, Kingshuk. Raipurna loves Sourya. So, they would get married. But on the day of their marriage, Kingshuk dies. In these circumstances, to take responsibility for her family, she gets Nilanjana and Sourya married without their knowledge. As a result, everyone misunderstands Raipurna. As the story progresses, Rai becomes the sole breadwinner of the family. Anirban Sen (played by Suman Dey), a businessman and entrepreneur, comes into the picture much later. Rai and Anirban come close and find companionship in each other.
