Minor abducted, raped in Khajuri

Bhopal: A 17-year-old girl was allegedly abducted from the Khajuri area and raped by an accused. Khajuri police rescued the girl and registered a case on charges of abduction and rape against the accused. Police are searching for him.
SHO Khajuri Neeraj Verma said that a 17-year-old girl living on a farmhouse went missing from her home on September 21 without informing anyone.Her family had filed a missing person's complaint. Considering the seriousness of the case, a special team was deployed to search for the girl.
On Tuesday, the team rescued the minor. The survivor, in her statements, revealed that a man living in the Shahjehanabad area had lured her into a friendship trap and took her with him. During the period, he raped her. Police have registered a case against the accused under relevant sections of BNS and the POCSO Act. A team has been deployed to arrest the accused.
