Pb cabinet reshuffle today; 4 ministers resign, Bhagat among 5 to be inducted
Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)-led govt in Punjab is set for a major cabinet reshuffle, marking the fourth change since the party took power in 2022. Four ministers have been dropped, and five new ministers will join the cabinet on Monday.
Senior Punjab leaders and ministers met with AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi on Sunday to finalise the names.

Those shown the door include Chetan Singh Jouramajra, who holds charge of defence services welfare, welfare of freedom fighters, horticulture, information, and public reforms; Bram Shankar Jimpa, revenue, rehabilitation and disaster management, water supply and sanitation minister; Balkar Singh, local government and parliamentary affairs minister; and Anmol Gagan Mann, tourism and culture affairs, investment promotion, labour, and hospitality minister. All of them have resigned.
New faces to join the cabinet include Mohinder Bhagat, who recently won the Jalandhar (West) byelection. Chief minister Bhagwant Mann had promised during the byelection campaign that Bhagat would be made a cabinet minister if elected.
