GURGAON: A YouTuber has been booked after a video of him allegedly rashly driving at a speed of over 140kmph on an arterial road in Faridabad was widely circulated on Friday. Several people, including AAP MP Swati Maliwal, have appealed to the police to initiate stringent legal action against the accused.
Cops said , they came across the video linked to Rajat Dalal on social media and, taking suo motu cognizance, a case has been registered at Sarai Khawaja police station against him.

Rajat Dalal has 2.3 lakh followers on his YouTube channel and posts fitness-related videos.
Head constable Mahesh lodged a complaint on Friday night stating that he had come across a video on social media where a car was being driven at a very high speed. "The driver was speeding zig-zag in a dangerous manner," head constable said.
Police then contacted the person who uploaded the video - Kartik Chhabra. "Chhabra confirmed that he recorded the video and the incident happened on Feb 25 this year," the head constable said.
A case was registered under IPC sections on Friday night.
Dalal said in a post on social media platform X that the video isn't recent and he was ready to bear punishment if he had made a mistake.
