Mhow: Four unidentified persons attacked and looted a Bangaluru-based businessman and his companions near Rajgarh town on Indore- Ahmedabad national highway on Saturday late night.
Rajgarh police station in charge Sanjay Rawat told TOI, “Rohan son of Vimal Bhandari, 32, resident of West Bangaluru was going with his driver Bhola Sahu from Jain pilgrimage Mohankheda to Indore on Saturday night.
At about 1.15 am, when they had just crossed Rajgarh town and were passing through Reliya dam, car tyre got punctured, on which he called his cousin Akshay Munat at Rajgarh. Akshay along with his friend Amol Sindurkar reached there and before they could do anything for changing the wheel, four persons appeared from the nearby forest area and attacked Rohan and Akshay, due to which both of them were injured. During this, they forcefully took the gold bracelet from Rohan and also took two bags kept in the car, after which they fled from there. After getting information, a police team reached there and Rohan and Akshay were taken to the hospital for first aid. On the report of Rohan, four unidentified persons were booked under sections 309(2) and 390(4) of BNS.”
Rawat said that search is on for them and investigation is on in the case.
