3 labourers killed as mini truck hits two-wheeler in UP's Banda district

KANPUR: In a tragic incident, three labourers lost their lives, and one sustained severe injuries when a mini truck collided with the motorcycle they were riding in the Naraini area of Banda district.
The incident occurred near Chhaniya Purwa of Lahureta village, within the limits of Naraini Kotwali.
The deceased have been identified as Vijay Bahadur (29), resident of Mohan Purwa Ansh Khalari, Manoj alias Bauwa (24), hailing from Dhobin Purwa Ansh Pukari and Prabhu Dayal (20) also a resident of Mohan Purwa Ansh Pukari.
The fourth person Rambabu (22), suffered critical injuries in the mishap. The authorities are working to ensure that the culprit is brought to justice.
According to additional superintendent of police Banda Shiv Raj, the vehicle and its driver have been identified, and efforts are underway to apprehend the suspect for further legal proceedings.
