Kolkata: Diamond Harbour FC (DHFC) kept their chase on for the CFL Premier Division title, blanking Calcutta Customs 4-0 in their Super Six match in Naihati on Sunday.
Rahul Paswan gave Diamond Harbour the lead on the cusp of halftime. Having survived some anxious moments, Kibu Vicuna’s team eventually killed it as a contest scoring three goals in the stoppage time.

Jobby Justin made it 2-0 in the first minute of the injury time and Girik Khosla and Narohari Shrestha added more gloss to the scoreline finding the target two and four minutes later respectively.
The result took Diamond Harbour to 39 points after 15 matches, two points behind leaders East Bengal FC.
East Bengal and Diamond Harbour are scheduled to meet next which could potentially be the title decider of the local league. tnn
