Man, 25, murdered by gang in Tuticorin dist

Tuticorin: A 25-year-old man was murdered by a gang at Shenbagaperi village near Kovilpatti in Tuticorin district on Monday morning.
The victim, S Pandiaraj, was a mason. He had left his house on Monday morning, apparently to the outskirts of the village to attend to nature's call, but did not return home.
The family members, becoming suspicious of his prolonged absence, searched for him and found his body near the village lake with multiple cut injuries.The family members informed the Nalattinpudur police station.
Police recovered Pandiaraj's body, and sent it to Kovilpatti govt hospital for postmortem. Nalattinpudur police filed a murder case and are investigating the motive behind the murder and the people involved in the crime.
