SIT leaked secret statement: Actor

T'puram: The actor, who had filed a sexual assault complaint against actor Siddique, alleged on Tuesday that the secret statement she gave before the special investigation team was leaked. She also expressed her dissatisfaction with the ongoing probe.
The probe team dismissed the allegation as baseless and said that the survivor herself had disclosed everything to the media."The probe is going on very effectively and transparently, and nothing has been leaked from our side," said the probe team.
The actor lodged a written complaint with the state police chief a few days ago. "Since the case is being probed, I don't want to comment more on it. But the fact is that my statements were leaked through the media and there was a move to destroy evidence," she told TOI.
The survivor also said that she was happy that the court did not grant Siddique bail.
