Udaipur: Dungarpur police and the intelligence department have detained a 13-year-old boy and his mother for questioning after the Palestinian flag and several other religious flags were found at their residence. Police conducted a search after photographs and videos of the Palestinian flag atop their residence went viral on social media. However, the flag had been removed before the authorities arrived for the search.

ASP Ashok Kumar said information was received regarding the hoisting of a Palestinian flag on a residential property in the city’s Patela Mohalla. Images and videos depicting the flag atop the house were shared on social media. This prompted the police and intelligence department to take swift action. A police team, accompanied by Kotwali CI Bhagwanlal, searched the house and discovered the Palestinian flag and several other religious flags. The house was inhabited by a 13-year-old boy and his mother. tnn
