The much-anticipated film 'Devara: Part 1', starring
Jr NTR, is set to hit the big screen on September 27, and theaters in Telangana have already raised ticket prices to meet fan demand. Following the trend in
Andhra Pradesh, the Telangana government has also approved a ticket price hike and additional show timings to accommodate the excitement, according to India Today.
'Devara: Part 1' also features
Janhvi Kapoor and
Saif Ali Khan in key roles. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film's early shows will begin as early as 1 a.m. on release day, with a Rs 100 price increase for tickets in 29 theaters. On the first day alone, six shows will be screened starting at 4 a.m., all with the same Rs 100 hike.

For the next nine days (from September 28 to October 6), 'Devara' will have five shows daily in Telangana. Ticket prices will see a smaller increase—Rs 50 in multiplexes and Rs 25 in single-screen theaters.
In Andhra Pradesh, the government has approved even higher price increases. Upper-class tickets will go up by Rs 110, lower-class by Rs 60, and multiplex tickets by Rs 135. Fans in the state can enjoy special screenings starting at midnight on release day, with six extra shows. From Day 2 onward, five additional shows per day have been scheduled.
