Pujarini Ghosh falls unconscious due to low blood pressure; Admitted to a hospital

Pujarini Ghosh, a popular Bengali actress, was rushed to the hospital due to a significant drop in blood pressure caused by stress and strict dietary restrictions. Admitted to the ICU, she is now recovering but remains under observation until her blood pressure stabilizes above 90. Her recent work demands required substantial weight loss.

Pujarini Ghosh has encountered a health scare just before Durga Puja. The popular Bengali actress took ill and was rushed to a hospital recently. Pujarini suddenly suffered from low blood pressure which fell to 60/40 when she was admitted to the hospital. There, her BP again dropped and she was shifted to the ICU. The actress informed that she was doing better. However, she revealed that she was advised to stay under observation and remained in the ICU till her blood pressure went above 90.
For the last few days, Pujarini was reportedly stressed about her work and personal life.On top of that, she was under strict dietary restrictions. The actress said, “I am not alone in following the diet. We all have to follow it. Our job demands it. I have been under work pressure for the last few days and it required a significant amount of weight loss. Hence I did not have enough food in the last few days. I was also stressed with some incidents in my personal life. Hence this thing happened. However, sometimes I think this profession puts extra pressure on us to show ourselves to be slim.”

Pujarini, a known face in Tollywood, has also worked in Hindi shows as well. She worked in ‘JL50’ opposite ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ famed actor Abhay Deol. Pujarini was praised for her work as Ratna in the movie ‘Postmaster’ (2016), for which she received critical acclaim too. She was seen in Abhirup Ghosh’s web series ‘Ojha’ and films like ‘Asmani Bhor’ and ‘Onnyo Rupkatha’.
