What prompted you to take up the Hollywood Highway 905?
So, basically, nothing really prompted me.
1x1 polls
Of course, I've always been looking at doing something internationally. I've been working in the Indian film industry for such a long time since I was a baby. So, obviously, I wanted to explore a different territory and new challenges. And I always wanted to do that. And this honestly just fell on my lap. I just got a phone call from this director. He's an Indian filmmaker in Long Island. And he basically called me because he had seen my previous work. And he sent me the script. And I liked it. I really liked the script because I really like murder mysteries and psychological thrillers. So, that was amazing. And also, we quickly, before I knew it, we got my work visa, you know, the permits and everything going. And the thing I know is that I'm shooting in New York and I'm already shooting in Long Island. So, it happened very quickly last year. And it was released on time in the U.S.
You're shooting in a foreign land, shooting in a place like New York. And the challenges that you face, the artist faces there, vis-a-vis India, is there any difference? Or is it as smooth as ever?
I basically feel, you know, it doesn't make such a big difference. It really depends on the kind of movie that you're shooting and how many people are involved in the unit. We do many films here too and I'm doing some right now. And I just feel like each experience is very different from the other. And in Long Island, we had a very small unit because we had to keep traveling to different locations. I am actually very comfortable when the unit is smaller. It's more intimate. I don't know, I just found it a lot cooler because you tend to bond with your unit much more. There are no unnecessary people just standing and watching you on the set.

Going forward, are you planning to invest more in international projects?
I'm definitely looking at a lot of international projects. But it's a long process. Because I'm in the process of getting my visa done. And that's not a very easy process. But I'm on it. It's already begun. And yes, I've met tons and tons of people over there. I was in New York right now also. I have lots of guests. I already have a date there. I have family in California. Who I met and I've met a lot of people. So, yes, I am looking for this. And I probably will be doing something soon again.
