When Ranbir Kapoor schooled Karan Johar for bringing up his past relationships on Koffee With Karan, 'It’s high time...'
Karan Johar's chat show, Koffee With Karan is known for all things spicy - whether it is cat fights, romantic relationships or marriage tips, Karan has a knack of getting celebs to confess their deepest secrets on the show, all of course in a fun and light vein, to be taken with a pinch of salt. It also helps that most of the celebs are his friends, and do not mind him encroaching into their personal space, for most part that is...

In 2016, Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh had appeared on the show together.

At that time, Ranbir and Deepika had been split since many years. However, Karan once again brought up the topic of Deepika, asking Ranbir about why things did not work out. To this, Ranbir, known for his calm and dignified personality, had said, “Let me speak about myself. See it’s been seven or eight years, it’s nearly a decade.” Ranveer, to this, added, “Oh, that’s damn long” as the Barfi! star continued, “Everyone concerned is over it. We have positively moved on in our lives and it’s high time that Koffee With Karan also moves on with it. Because it’s done.” “There is no elephant, it has disappeared, it’s invisible,” the actor concluded.
Eventually, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot in 2022, four years after Deepika and Ranveer wed in 2018. Both couples are now parents to adorable baby girls.
Talking about new parents Deepika and Ranveer, the couple welcomed their baby girl on September 8, and the couple has yet to reveal their daughter's name. Both the new mother and her child are healthy and doing well, having been discharged a few days ago. Deepika's yoga trainer, Anshuka Parwani, recently shared details of her pregnancy fitness journey.

Anshuka mentioned that Deepika has an athletic body and is highly dedicated to maintaining her fitness. She explained that Deepika’s pregnancy workouts were holistic, concentrating on strength, endurance, and stamina, with adjustments made to accommodate her growing baby. Anshuka added that, at times, the workouts could be even more challenging than regular ones due to the pregnancy.

"But, with the kind of awareness Deepika has, through the pregnancy, it’s been a breeze because we were working out almost every other day. During her last trimester, we worked out almost every day. The whole process was very enjoyable. There were some days we felt like just doing a restoration class while there were other days where we focused on strength. Deepika and I would come up with new sequences together and with a lot of communication and trust, we managed to have a healthy baby there,” she said.
When asked about Deepika's post-pregnancy training, Anshuka described the connection she has with her clients and their babies as magical. She stressed how yoga creates a beautiful energy exchange and explained that each post-natal body is different, with no two recovering the same way.
"We will add a lot of pranayam, a lot of breath work and work on the body to bring back the muscle memory of the small exercise and small drills that your body has once done. The idea is to do tiny exercises and work on that core muscle and memory to revive your body back. So, you take those initial three months in just slowly and gradually reviving your body and then in the fourth month is when we would start working on the body goals,” she concluded.
