Kannadigas no longer safe in 'Hitler-led Siddaramaiah govt': BJP over woman found dead in Bengaluru
BENGALURU: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) criticized the Congress-led Karnataka government after the murder of a woman whose dismembered body was found in a refrigerator.
The BJP Karnataka posted on X (formerly Twitter), stating, "Under @INCKarnataka rule, appeasement policies have led to a complete collapse of law and order. The brutal murder of Mahalakshmi by Ashraf is a clear reminder that Kannadigas are no longer safe in this Hitler-led @siddaramaiah government."
The BJP argued that the Congress opposes Anti-Love Jihad laws to cater to their vote bank.

The party wrote, "We urge Congress ministers not to downplay this as a mere accident or prank to appease culprits and please your vote bank. Balak Buddi @RahulGandhi, while you weep for Hamas terrorists, here's something for you to consider. And this is exactly why @INCIndia opposes Anti-Love Jihad laws--to protect demons from being hanged."
Officials reported discovering the dismembered body of a woman in a refrigerator on Thursday in the Vyalikaval area of Bengaluru.
The police identified the victim as Mahalakshmi, aged 29. Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central Bengaluru, Shekar H Tekkannavar, confirmed that a case has been registered, and investigations are ongoing.
Further information is awaited.
