Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra, led by Padmashri Shobha Deepak Singh, presented the 48th edition of its dance drama ‘
KRISHNA’ at the Kamani Auditorium, New Delhi.
The two-and-a-half-hour production traced the life of Lord Krishna, from his playful childhood to his profound teachings, capturing his romance with nature, compassion, and divinity. Through traditional Indian dance forms like Mayurbhanj Chhau, Kathak, and Kalaripayattu, the artists depicted key moments of Krishna’s life, including his role in the Mahabharata.

Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra is known for preserving Indian heritage while presenting it in a modern context.
‘KRISHNA’ weaves together stories and myths, offering practical lessons for contemporary audiences. The use of an LED wall added a modern touch, blending cutting-edge technology with traditional choreography, intricate sets, and detailed costumes.

Produced and directed by Padmashri Shobha Deepak Singh, the production was described as a "living testament to Lord Krishna's timeless wisdom." She also highlighted the message of hope and peace conveyed through Krishna’s story, offering audiences a moment of reflection amid the challenges of daily life.
