'Navra Maza Navsacha 2': Sachin Pilgaonkar and Ashok Saraf starrer earns Rs 7.84 crore over the weekend

Sachin Pilgaonkar's 'Navra Maza Navsacha 2' starring Swwapnil Joshi, Ashok Saraf, and Supriya Pilgaonkar, which was released on September 20, 2024, is on a roll at the box office.
According to Sacnilk.com, Navra Maza Navsacha 2 garnered approximately Rs. 2 crores on its release day. The film is receiving positive word of mouth, with high demand due to the cult following of the original Navra Maza Navsacha (2004).
On Friday, the Swwapnil Joshi and Ashok Saraf starrer saw good growth as it collected only Rs 1.85 crore.Regaining its momentum on Saturday, the film garnered Rs 2.50 crore.
Meanwhile, the screenings of the new releases, 'Yudhra' and 'Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam', have been significantly reduced as their collections dropped on Saturday following a decent opening day.
On the other hand, 'Stree 2,' which has been enjoying a historic run for over a month, is now facing stiff competition for the first time due to 'Navra Maza Navsacha 2'. The overwhelming demand for 'Navra Maza Navsacha 2' has led theaters to add extra shows to accommodate eager audiences. The sequel of the horror comedy 'Stree' witnessed over 54 percent growth on Sunday and earned Rs 3.85 crore. The film’s total collection in India currently stands at 7.84 crore.
The film also stars Nirvana Sawant, Nivedita Saraf, Vaibhav Mangle, Siddharth Jadhav, Santosh Pawar, Jaywant Wadkar, Vijay Patkar, and Ganesh Pawar in pivotal roles.
