Yamaha has launched the 2024 iteration of the RayZR Street Rally, priced at Rs 98,130, ex-showroom. The model gets new features with this update along with a new colour option. The scooter is now open for bookings across Yamaha dealerships in India. With these updates, the scooter will now cost Rs 2,000 more than its predecessor.

One of the key updates to the scooter is the new Answer Back function.
Similar to cars, this feature helps riders locate their scooter in crowded parking areas by remotely activating the blinkers and horn via Yamaha’s mobile app. Another notable upgrade is the addition of LED DRLs.
In addition to the newly-introduced Cyber Green colour option, the RayZR Street Rally continues to be available in two other colour schemes: Ice Fluo-Vermillion (exclusive to Blue Square showrooms) and Matte Black.

Yamaha RayZR: Engine and hardware


Despite the new bells and whistles, the heart of the RayZR Street Rally remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by the same 125 cc single-cylinder engine, delivering 8.2 hp 10.3 Nm, paired with a CVT gearbox. The scooter is equipped with Hybrid Power Assist.
Other hardware and features of the model include telescopic front suspension, a monoshock at the rear, and block pattern tyres for a rugged, off-road look. The RayZR also offers 21 litres of under-seat storage, a side-stand engine cut-off switch, and a fully digital instrument console with smartphone connectivity via Yamaha's Y-Connect app.
