Jaishree Krishh Movie Review : Overall, the film is certainly worth watching with your family
Critic's Rating: 3.0/5
Story: Devarshi Shah portrays the role of a wedding planner and an experienced thief, accompanied by his three friends. During one of his wedding projects, he falls in love with Simran’s character. This is where the story takes a serious turn as their feelings are mutual, and Devarshi must confront his own demons. The film explores how loving Simran transforms him into a better person, aided by the life lessons shared by Lord Krishna.
Review: While the film’s second half is gripping, the first half is somewhat confusing due to multiple parallel storylines. But it manages to entertain till the end. Hardeik, as a debutant director, has done a decent job in terms of direction, treatment, dialogues, and the selection of picturesque locations. The frames, ranging from Dhwarkadhish to Riverfront, reflect thoughtful efforts and contribute to the film’s visual appeal. As an entertaining musical love story, it features some remarkable dance numbers like Ramo-Ramo and Hari Naam. The music composed by Rakshit Malhotra and Abhishek Bonthu, featuring talented singers like Bhoomi Trivedi, Siddharth Bhavsar, Ash King, and Hardik Dave, adds to the film’s interesting narrative with its tuneful melodies.
Although the story has its weak moments, Devarshi and Simran’s chemistry shines throughout the film. It is a pleasure to see Devarshi back on the silver screen, and Simran Natekar delivers an impressive performance. The audience will certainly look forward to seeing her in more movies. Additionally, incorporating subtle lessons from Lord Krishna and discussions about faith in God in the dialogues, with a touch of humour, is well-executed.
Overall, the film is certainly worth watching with your family.
